Participants will examine background factors influencing behavior and will be introduced to the basics of Applied Behavior Analysis: a powerful tool for examining the sequence of events surrounding challenging behavior. She attended both Mercer University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG), where she earned her bachelor\u2019s degree in psychology. Her interest in early childhood literacy led her to earn a master\u2019s in library and information studies at UNCG. She also holds a certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University.<br \/>\nCarrie has served children and their families at the state and local levels for over 30 years, in the areas of evaluation, early childhood literacy, home visiting, parenting, and child care quality. Prior to joining the Coalition, she was Executive Director of Alamance Partnership for Children in North Carolina, where she was awarded the Good for Kids Award by the American Academy of Pediatrics North Carolina Pediatrics Society. She has over 30 years of financial management experience with 20 of those being in the non-profit industry. She has been the driving force behind implementation of successful programs in our community for early learning including TS Gold, the mindSpark Educator Accelerator Program and various Early Learning Curricula.<\/p>\n<p>Elizabeth is a graduate of Everest University with a Bachelor Degree in Criminal Justice. She has accumulated over 900 hours of additional training experience to expand her knowledge in the field of early learning. Prior to starting PCM, he was practicing at Ocala Family Medical Center since 2005. He is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and an Adjunct Clinical Faculty at USF. He also sits on the boards of the ELC and the Women\u2019s Pregnancy Center in Ocala.<\/p>\n<p>Todd and his wife, Lisa, reside in Ocala, where they\u2019re raising six children to love this peaceful horse-country as much as they do. They are passionate about fostering and adoption. They are members of Meadowbrook Church, where they attend and serve.
